Effective date: January 1, 2026
By using the website at maderafences.com or by engaging Madera Fences ("we," "us," or "our") for any services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services. We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date.
Madera Fences provides residential and commercial fence installation, repair, replacement, and related services in Madera, CA and surrounding areas. Services are performed by licensed, insured contractors. The scope of any specific project is defined in a written estimate or contract agreed upon by both parties before work begins. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer or guarantee of specific pricing, availability, or timeline without a written agreement.
All estimates provided by Madera Fences are free of charge and based on an on-site assessment of your property. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise noted in writing.
Final pricing is determined by the written estimate or contract. If conditions encountered during the project differ materially from what was visible during the estimate - such as buried obstacles, unstable soil, or changes to the project scope requested by the customer - we will notify you before proceeding with any additional work. No additional charges will be billed without your prior written or verbal approval.
Prices on our website, if displayed, are general ranges for informational purposes only and are not binding quotes.
Project start dates are scheduled at the time of contract signing and are subject to availability, permitting timelines, and weather conditions. We will communicate scheduling changes as promptly as possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice may result in a fee to cover materials already ordered or crew scheduling costs. Any deposit paid toward a project is non-refundable if materials have already been ordered or substantial preparation has been completed.
We reserve the right to reschedule or delay projects due to severe weather, permit delays outside our control, supply chain issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will make every effort to complete rescheduled projects promptly.
Payment terms are specified in the written estimate or contract for each project. In general, a deposit may be required before work begins to cover materials, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Final payment is due at the time of the completion walkthrough unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Overdue balances may be subject to a late fee as specified in the project contract. We reserve the right to place a mechanic's lien on the property for unpaid balances in accordance with California law.
Before work begins, the customer agrees to:
We are not responsible for damage to unmarked underground utilities, landscaping, or structures outside the agreed fence line. Utility marking via 811 is required before any digging and will be coordinated by our crew.
Where required, Madera Fences will apply for the necessary building permits through the applicable local authority. Permit fees are the customer's responsibility and will be itemized in the project estimate. We build all projects to comply with applicable local codes. However, if you have HOA restrictions that differ from city code, it is your responsibility to obtain HOA approval before work begins. We are not liable for project modifications required by HOA rules that were not disclosed prior to contract signing.
We stand behind the quality of our installations. Workmanship defects reported within one year of project completion will be assessed and corrected at no additional charge, provided the issue is caused by our installation methods and not by customer misuse, external damage, or natural events beyond our control (including severe storms, flooding, or seismic activity).
Material warranties, if applicable, are governed by the manufacturer's warranty terms and are separate from our workmanship guarantee. We will assist you in submitting a material warranty claim but cannot be held responsible for a manufacturer's decision on a claim.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Madera Fences and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or from your use of this website - including but not limited to lost profits, loss of use, or damage to property not directly caused by our work.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

If a dispute arises between you and Madera Fences in connection with our services, we ask that you first contact us directly to resolve the issue. We will make a good-faith effort to address your concern within 10 business days.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Any legal proceedings that cannot be resolved through mediation shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Madera, CA.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. By using our website or services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in California for the resolution of any dispute arising under these terms.
